3. Keep your subject line long and attractive:

Make use of the wide white space that is available even by using text symbols. However, never put the common word ‘Free’ in the subject line as it send your mail straight to the spam folder of the recipient.

- In your marketing plans, keep the possibility of occasional discounts on the kind of products and/ or services and display them prominently in your emails. However, you need to ensure that these discounts do not cut into the profits that you foresee from your business online.

5. Make it highly informative:
- Try to provide some additional information occasionally that is relevant and useful to your existing customers. It can relate to future seminars or conferences on the business subjects only. Also, keep a track of the dates that when a particular event is taking place and, if necessary, send a reminder to the customers at an appropriate time.

- The traditional way of marketing is a time-consuming task that involves huge investment. The demand and supply of products and/ or services, can take days to finalize. However, in E-mail marketing, the communication between the buyers and seller is fast — minutes or seconds and not days. Also, you can do it with little investment. It is also effective that you can contact a vast number of customers through emails rather other modes such as telephone or fax. This makes E-mail marketing cheaper and yet effective.
